Online Bingo Basics Everybody Should Know
The origin of bingo can be traced way back as 15th century where it was played in Italy as a form of lottery. The game became favorites of the people that it then spread into France where it was known to be played by the elites. It then spread into Germany where it was used as an educational tool in teaching mathematics and language to young children. It later spread all over Europe and by 1900's it eventually reached America and soon spread all over the world.
Bingo back then was played only in some local bingo hall, community centers and charitable institutions. It became a popular game played for fund raising activities. But with modern age where everything is done on the internet, online bingo was then created.

Online bingo is actually the same with the traditional bingo. The only difference is that in traditional bingo, it uses bingo cards made of cardboard and is held by the hand whereas; in online bingo the bingo cards are displayed in the computer screen.
When playing traditional bingo, you must mark the numbers with a marker or dauber as they are called. In online bingo, the bingo cards are displayed in the screen and it was automatically marked by the computer or manually marked by the player. It can also be set to auto-daub where a player can leave his card to play by itself.
The little numbered balls in a bingo cage where it was drawn are now replaced by a computerized number call that is displayed and flashed in the screen.
The host or caller in a bingo hall bingo is now a computerized voice or a flashing of number on your screen.
In land based or traditional bingo, when a player hits bingo he must immediately shout "bingo" so that the caller can stop calling the next number. He should shout loud enough to stop the caller from drawing another ball. In online bingo you can declare bingo in two ways. One is that the computer automatically recognizes your number combinations and instantly calls "bingo". The other one is that the player needs to call "bingo" by himself to stop the game and before anyone could declare bingo to be able to claim his prize.
